Playas de Rosarito, Baja California — Two young children who were allegedly killed by their American father, have been found in a town in Baja California. The bodies of a one-year-old boy and a 10-month-old girl who were reported as missing, have been located on Mexican soil.
In a press conference, Hiram Sánchez Zamora, Central Prosecutor of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) announced the discovery of the two American children early on the morning of August 9, in Playas de Rosarito.
An employee of the Cardozo ranch, located on the main road of Descanso in the Primo Tapia delegation, found the bodies of the infants and dialed 911.
During the press conference, the Central Prosecutor explained that the father, Matthew Taylor Coleman, was captured on hotel surveillance video arriving at the City Express Hotel in the municipality of Playas de Rosarito.
At 2:54 a.m. on Monday, August 9, the man and his children were again seen on surveillance cameras leaving the hotel, carrying their suitcases.
“We assume that at this time he went and made a 29-kilometer journey until he reached the access of the Descanso road and when he was facing the entrance of the Cardozo ranch, he descended and injured the infants.
“Then he took them to the point where he injured them again, 10 meters away, and he abandoned them there when they lost their lives,” explained Hiram Sánchez Zamora.
Matthew Taylor Coleman returned to the hotel at 6:33 a.m. on August 9, and at 9:33 a.m., he left to begin his return to the United States, however, he was intercepted by American authorities. During his interrogation with American police, Coleman claimed to be a follower of QAnon, saying he had to kill his children because “they had snake blood” that was passed to them from their mother.
The man, who is from Santa Barbara, California, brought his children to Playas de Rosarito to murder them, stating that he did so because they were going to turn into monsters, that they had snake blood just like their mother and that he was enlightened to kill them and save the world.
After the discovery of his murdered children in Rosarito, Matthew Taylor Coleman was detained by American authorities while trying to cross back into the United States. On August 11, he appeared in a Los Angles court where details of his statements were released.
