Cancun, Q.R. — A drug distribution cell was dismantled in SM 208 of Cancun with the capture of five of its members. Police made the bust Thursday after they attempted to flee police presence on motorcycles.
Upon seeing the patrol, the five, who were aboard four motorcycles, tried to flee, however, police were successful in catching up with them. Taken into custody were 26-year-old Sadiel N, 30-year-old Miguel N, 28-year-old Adrián N, 22-year-old José N and 23-year-old Teysi N.
The five were booked on drug charges after being found in possession of more than 10 kilos of marijuana. Police also seized all four motorcycles as well as five cell phones.
