Acapulco, Guerrero — A physical altercation between tourists and waiters went viral during the holiday season. The beach brawl was published across social media after a table of restaurant-goers and their waiters began to fight.
The fight was alleged to have been over the refusal of the restaurant patrons to pay the amount on their bill, claiming excessive charges. The group from Mexico City began to argue with waiters from the seaside eatery on the island of La Roqueta in Acapulco.
The argument quickly escalated, involving the use of the plastic tables and chairs. The fight lasted several minutes despite calls of other tourists to stop due to the presence of children. Once the fight was over, three injured people were transferred to hospital for their injuries.
