Cancun, Q.R. — A pedestrian who was attempting to cross the city’s busy Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard was left injured after being hit. Motorists reported the incident to emergency services after the driver of a public transport van clipped the man.
The injured pedestrian was left laying against the orange traffic road dividers that are being used to separate the roadway during construction. Nearby workers helped him while they waited for medical assistance.
The man was hit by a public transport van as it entered the city. He was taken to Cancun hospital with head injuries. The accident created additional chaos along the city’s busy artery with the closing of a lane while paramedics and police attended to the scene.
