Cancun, Q.R. — A minor boy who was shot in a Cancun attack Wednesday afternoon has died. The young man died after receiving a bullet wound to his head. He was transferred to a general hospital in Cancun where doctors operated as soon as he was admitted.
However, he died several hours later, at around 7:00 p.m. Authorities reported that the boy was 15 years old. He was shot during an attack in SM 106 of Cancun in the Carabanchel neighborhood.
He was taken to hospital after being found lying on a dirt road leading to a farm. Cancun police were waiting to take his statement as to what happened. It is not known if he was an intended target or if he was shot accidentally.
