Tulum, Q.R. — Another package of cocaine has been found washed up off the cost of Tulum. Packages of cocaine began washing up more frequently after the passing of Hurricane Grace August 19. This time, patrolling police located a wrapped 20-kilo block of the drug near Punta Solimán.
The discovery of the package was made by a passerby who called it in to Emergency 911. Both the Quintana Roo Police and elements of the National Guard responded. It is the fourth known package of drugs to be found on a municipal beach in as many weeks.
