A second bag of cocaine with 20 blocks washes up on Tulum beach

Tulum, Q.R. — Another bag that washed up on a Tulum beach was found to contain cocaine. On Monday morning, hotel personnel found the sack while cleaning the beach of seaweed.

Elements of the Quintana Roo Police were requested at Playa la Zebra where they located 20 blocks of cocaine inside. At the time of the find, police said the origin and accurate weight of the blocks was unknown.

It is the second time in days that a large quantity of cocaine has washed up along Tulum beaches. Earlier this month, police patrolling a section of the Tulum Hotel Zone beach area located 35 blocks of cocaine.
