Cancun, Q.R. — Two men who were arrested earlier this month for their involvement in the attempted murder of a former Cancun police officer have been found linked to the crime.
In a Cancun court room, a judge found sufficient evidence that points to both men being involved in the shooting that took place in SM 254 when a former police officer was shot while sitting in his car outside his home in the La Joya subdivision.
In a press release by la Fiscalía General del Estado, they report that both accused will be put on trial for attempted murder. They have been identified as 19-year-old Bryan N and 32-year-old Jesús Iván N who will be held in custody until then.
