Villahermosa-Macuspana, Tabasco — A five-vehicle pile up along a Tabasco highway caused a lot of damage and chaos, but left no one injured.
The unfortunate daytime accident happened Wednesday about 500 meters from the toll booth by a speeding vehicle. Reports say that César N, the driver of the tractor trailer, was unable to stop for the toll booth in time due to excessive speed. Police called it a “miracle” on one was killed or even injured.
Federal police arrived to block off the area and avoid more vehicle becoming involved. It took several tow trucks to upright and remove the damaged cars, which kept the highway closed for several hours.
