Semi transporting 15 tons of bricks clips pickup on José María Morelos highway

José María Morelos, Q.R. — A trailer loaded with more than 15 tons of bricks had to be towed after leaving the highway. The semi carrying the heavy load ended up deep on the shoulder after colliding with a state government vehicle.

The collission happened around 11:30 a.m. on a section of the Polyuc – José María Morelos highway. The semi driver was hauling the load of bricks when it came upon the government pickup truck.

The semi clipped the rear of the truck, sending both vehicles off the road. Paramedics from the José María Morelos fire department as well as National Guard attended the site. There were no injuries reported in the accident, only material damage.
