Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A motorist driving along Playa del Carmen Boulevard destroyed his vehicle after crashing into the back of a Tucsa public bus at high speed.
The accident was attended to by police and elements of Civil Protection. The driver of the vehicle was able to walk away due to airbags, however, he didn’t get far. Police arrested him on site since he was driving without insurance.
There were no reports of any injured passengers from the Tucsa city bus. The bus was rear-ended by the driver at the junction of Pintores Avenue in west Playa del Carmen after he attempted to lane change at a high rate of speed. His vehicle was completely destroyed.
