Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two youths who robbed a couple of beer truck employees have been captured on video. The unidentified males were seen walking through an irregular area of Playa del Carmen hours after the cash robbery.
The pair approached the driver and co-driver of the company beer truck in Bellavista wielding a knife, demanding cash and their personal cell phones. Both employees handed over what they had before calling 911 for help.
One of the two stolen cell phones was equipped with GPS, which police used to track its location. The signal was picked up in Las Torres, an irregular community of Playa del Carmen.
From there, police were able to capture the pair on surveillance cameras, however, they have yet to be located and arrested. Police did not say how much cash they made off with in the company robbery.
