Mexican wanted in Panama for sexual abuse extradited

Mexico City, Mexico — The Government of Mexico has extradited a Mexican man to Panama wanted for sexual abuse. The man, identified as Moisés “B”, has been accused of sexually abusing two minors. The charges date back to 2013.

In an FGR statement, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that in compliance with the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the Republic of Panama, Moisés “B” was extradited after being arrested in Mexico in 2022.

“In 2013, Moisés “B” sexually abused two minors. After being arrested in February 2022 in León, Guanajuato, the Government of Mexico granted the extradition of the defendant to the Government of Panama,” they reported.

Moisés “B”, of Mexican nationality, was wanted by the “First Judicial Circuit of Panama, for crimes against sexual freedom and integrity in the form of rape, and other sexual crimes to the detriment of two minors,” the FGR detailed.

The fugitive was handed over at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to Panamanian agents Tuesday.
