Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A two-vehicle road crash at a Playa del Carmen police filter has left one dead and another crushed after the driver became trapped inside his vehicle.
The accident happened at the north Playa del Carmen police filter when a compact internet company vehicle was hit by a speeding car. According to preliminary information, the company vehicle was hit and pushed into a post where it wrapped the palapa pole, killing the male driver instantly.
The driver of the white car was left trapped inside his vehicle after a majority of the engine was pushed into the cab. Firemen were called to cut the driver free from the car. Reports say the white Audi that allegedly caused the accident was driving at excessive speed.
