Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — The suspect in a recent Puerto Morelos murder has been captured in Mexico City. On Wednesday, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported on the capture of Jorge Luis “N”.
Jorge Luis “N” was taken into police custody on an outstanding arrest warrant by the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) for the October murder of a Puerto Morelos woman.
According to the police investigation, on October 31, Jorge Luis “N” and Ana Karen “N” arrived at the apartment where they lived in Puerto Morelos. During a heated argument, Jorge Luis “N” is alleged to have strangled his 31-year-old girlfriend, Ana Karen “N”.
“Before leaving the house, he wrapped Ana Karen’s body in sheets and hid her under the bed. He then fled to Mexico City,” the FGR reported.
On October 31, a woman was found dead inside her Puerto Morelos home in the Villas Morelos subdivision of town. Her body was discovered by family members wrapped in a sheet.
Jorge Luis “N” was detained by Mexico City authorities in Iztapalapa of Mexico City and has already been transferred to the Quintana Roo Men’s Preventive Prison.
