Investigation leads to seizure of Cancun home

Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun authorities have seized a car and private home after a search turned up narcotics. The home in SM 101 was searched after an investigation lead police to suspect the home was being used for the purpose of drug sales.

A Cancun judge issued a search warrant based on their investigation. Inside the home, police found bags of marijuana and cocaine. In their statement, they also reported finding “official documents” and a white car.

Police, army personnel and National Guard took part in the search and seizure.

“Once the search was completed, the property was secured, placing the corresponding official seals on it,” the State Attorney General said.
