Cancun, Q.R. — Four people were arrested Wednesday on possession of narcotics. According to a statement by the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) of Quintana Roo, Juan Carlos “N”, Eddy “N”, Edwin “N” and José “N” were arrested by Cancun police from SM 244.
The group were taken into custody after patrolling officers saw them exchanging packages of narcotics on Rancho Viejo Avenue.
“Given the flagrant facts, the agents approached, however, the men noticed the police presence and maintained an evasive attitude. At that moment, two of the four men boarded a navy blue vehicle, while the other two men ran,” the agency reported.
The vehicle was blocked by the police cruiser the the four inspected. Officers located bags of marijuana, crystal meth, crack cocaine and powdered cocaine. The men were arrested while their drugs, cell phones, backpack and blue Honda were seized.
