Cancun woman jailed on charges of prostituting others

Cancun, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo has arrested a woman for human trafficking. On Wednesday, the FGE of Quintana Roo announced the arrest of Joselyn “N” on charges of prostituting others.

According to the FGE report, Joselyn “N” is alleged to have participated in the crime of human trafficking in the form of prostitution of others to the detriment of a girl.

According to their report, on July 16, “the defendant, taking advantage of the family closeness to the aggrieved, allowed her to be abused by a male person in exchange for an amount of money.”

The agency reported that it happened a second time, on July 27, when she allowed a different man to sexually abused the same girl.

Joselyn “N” was arrested in the streets Cancun. She was transferred to the FGE Quintana Roo and eventually to the Social Reintegration Center (prison) of Cancun where she awaits her initial court hearing.
