Cancun, Q.R. — A man was lucky to come out alive after his small moto was swallowed by the front tires of a semi. On Wednesday, a man traveling along José López Portillo Avenue in Cancun was run over by a full length semi while trying to dodge traffic.
Other motorists who were witnesses to the accident told police that the moto driver, identified as Nicolás N, was weaving in and out of traffic when he slide under the front double wheel of the semi.
Paramedics arrived to find the man freed from his crushed bike and laying in the center of the road. He had an extreme fracture to his left leg for which he was transferred to Cancun hospital. The driver of the semi, Héctor N, was arrested.
