Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun driver has been labeled an exhibitionist after he was seen performing lewd acts inside his private vehicle. A fellow Cancun motorist filed a complaint after videoing him allegedly masturbating inside his car.
The man was reportedly parked with the engine running along Tulum Avenue Tuesday night when the woman passed by and saw him. She captured his acts and license plate on video before posting it to social media.
When the driver realized he was being videoed, he fled in his car, however, the woman filed a complaint with police. Using city C5 surveillance, his vehicle was tracked down and the unidentified man arrested. The man is reported to be of Canadian nationality.
In a briefing, the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) of Quintana Roo reported that “with the support of the C5 video surveillance camera technology, the arrest of a man who was carrying out sexual demonstrations in public on Tulum Avenue in the municipality of Benito Juárez was achieved.
“In coordinated work with the municipal police, camera monitoring was quickly implemented to locate the vehicle, achieving his arrest and transfer to the corresponding authorities.”
