Cancun, Q.R. — For the crime of child abduction, a 21-year-old was arrested upon arrival in Cancun, authorities said.
Quintana Roo Police reported the capture of Adrián N in SM 66 of Cancun Thursday, after two minors in his company were reported as abducted.
According to their report, police were patrolling the area when they noticed a woman requesting help. She explained that a family member in Tabasco had called and told her the children had been abducted and taken to Cancun by bus by the man who was later identified as Adrián.
Two police units, along with the woman, headed to the Cancun bus station where they waited for the Tabasco bus to arrive. When it did, the man and two minor girls descended. The woman who escorted police, positively identified them.
Adrián N was inspected by police and arrested for child abduction. He was made available to the corresponding authorities.
