Clandestine cantina shut down in Puerto Aventuras

Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — An argument that erupted on the streets of Puerto Aventuras has led to the discovery of a clandestine cantina and the arrest of 13.

An argument that was reported by neighbors on Viveros Avenue in Puerto Aventuras exposed a house that was being used as a canteen.

Police arrived to respond to the public disturbance report and while there, found a private home selling beer in the back. Additional police arrived and arrested a total of 13 males who were all reportedly intoxicated.

La Dirección de Fiscalización de Solidaridad was notified of the illegal sale of alcohol at the home and also arrived to shut it down and fine those responsible.
