Chetumal, Q.R. — Arsonists allegedly set fire to an SUV that was parked outside a private home in Chetumal. City firemen were on scene at the Plutarco Elías Calles neighborhood vehicle fire where they found the SUV completely engulfed.
Neighbors made the 3:00 a.m. report to 911 Monday after they were woken by unusual sounds including the squealing of tires on the street.
Authorities reported that the burned vehicle was a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. The owner has filed a complaint to aid in the investigation of finding those responsible.
