Chetumal, Q.R. — Four people were injured in a Chetumal traffic accident Wednesday when one car is alleged to have cut off the other. Emergency services were called to the Pacto Obrero Campesino Colony of the city after two vehicles collided.
A collision between a taxi and a private car left four people injured at the intersection of Pacto Obrero Avenue and 10th North Street in Chetumal Wednesday morning.
According to initial reports, the accident happened when the driver of the taxi allegedly entered the private car’s lane, cutting them off. The compact car broadsided the taxi, driving it into the corner of a house.

Red Cross paramedics responded to the accident, treating the occupants of both vehicles at the scene before transferring them to hospital. Transit officers sectioned off the area while the vehicles were towed.
