Cancun, Q.R. — A type of citizen arrest has lead to one person being transferred to hospital after being intentionally hit by another bike. The incident happened along Chichen Itzá Avenue after the man entered a paint store around noon, demanding cash before fleeing.
Two people from inside the store followed the man, who fled on a motorcycle. They followed him, ramming the bike a few streets later. Both bikes came to a crashing halt in SM 63 where police arrived to find the the three men.
During the hit, the alleged thief was injured and transferred to hospital by ambulance. The two men from the second bike were taken into police custody. Both bikes were seized by police.
