Cancun, Q.R. — The man named responsible for a deadly road accident that left several dead in Cancun has been arrested. On Friday, driver José Antonio “N” was taken into custody upon hospital discharge.
José Antonio “N” is reported to be the driver of the pickup truck that crossed the roadway median and entered oncoming traffic. He was one of the injured from the three vehicle accident that killed six people Tuesday.
According to early information, on September 16, José Antonio “N” was entering the city of Cancun when he lost control on the wet road and ended up in the opposite lane. Two other vehicles were involved in the accident.
He has been accused of speeding when he lost control of his pickup. He is facing charges of negligent homicide.
