Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A Chetumal man who tried to renew two fake driver’s licenses ended up arrested. The 38-year-old was detained by elements of the Municipal Transit Department in Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tuesday.
Nestor “F” arrived to renew his car and motorcycle licenses, but when police ran them through their database, the reference numbers did not exist. A physical inspection of both licenses proved them to be fake.
Police from the FCP Municipal Transit Department took him into custody for the fake government-issued licenses.
