Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Police have arrested a suspect for a road rage murder in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto. On Thursday, the State Attorney General’s Office reported the capture of Victor “B” who was apprehended on an outstanding arrest warrant.
The FGE says Victor “B” was arrested for the shooting death of the driver of a motorcycle after he threw a rock at a car he was traveling in.
According to the FGE, on May 23, 2023, the victim was riding his motorcycle through the streets of the Plan de Ayala neighborhood of Felipe Carrillo Puerto at which time he was hit by a compact car.
The victim fell off his motorcycle and onto the pavement. When he got up, he threw a rock at the car that hit him. Victor “B”, who was a front-seat passenger in the car, got out and shot the motorcycle driver several times, killing him.
Victor “B” is currently being held in a Chetumal prison.
