Othón P Blanco and Felipe Carrillo Puerto to have new hospitals

Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Two municipalities in the state will receive new hospitals. Governor Mara Lezama made the announcement Thursday from Mexico City after a meeting with the head of the IMSS.

After a meeting with Alejandro Calderón Alipi, the General Director of IMSS-BIENESTAR, Mara Lezama said that the processes for the future construction of both hospitals are properly advancing.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Health, Flavio Carlos Rosado and the Private Secretary Ángel Rivero Palomo, Lezama highlighted the extraordinary response of the head of the IMSS-BIENESTAR with the two new hospitals.

Calderón Alipi highlighted the indication of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to support the health infrastructure of the state of Quintana Roo.

“We are working hard to improve the health infrastructure in his state,” he said.

According to Lezama, the hospitals will be built in the municipalities of Othón P Blanco and Felipe Carrillo Puerto. In a social media post she said “Quintana Roo will have two new hospitals!

“We are doing social justice for Othón P Blanco and Felipe Carrillo Puerto hand-in-hand with the Gobierno of Mexico, we return the shine to the center and south of our state.”
