Cancun, Q.R. — A man who is alleged to have participated in a home robbery in SM 110 has been taken into police custody. The man, who was part of a group of six, was the only person arrested. His arrest took place after another man hailed police and explained that he had just been robbed at gunpoint.

Police were pursuing two vehicles, the stolen Jeep and the white Voyager with the other men. Cancun police were successful in stopping the vehicles, but five of the men managed to escape on foot. The detained man, identified as 39-year-old Orlando de Jesús N and driver of the stolen Jeep, was taken into custody. He was later positively identified by the owner of the Jeep.
