Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two men passing through the Playa del Carmen – El Tintal police filter were arrested after an inspection. The pair were jailed earlier this week after a search of their vehicle revealed six large bags of marijuana.
Federal officers proceeded to arrest 37-year-old Oscar “N” and 33-year-old and José “N” from the state of Guanajuato after the bags were located. Police found the bags when, during a routine stop, they detected the smell of marijuana.
An on-site narcotics dog was brought in, who marked their white Nissan truck as positive.
