Cozumel, Q.R. — A Cozumel man was found shot to death outside his front door early Wednesday. Police found the man laying dead inches from the front door of his home in Juan Bautista Vega.
Some neighbors reported hearing the gun shots while others reported seeing the incident. According to their testimonies, armed men arrived at the now-deceased man’s door on motorcycles.
Neighbors said the armed men arrived around 2:00 a.m. When the door was answered, they shot him several times without any warning. Police arrived to find the dead man had been shot twice.
He was found laying face down outside the door to his home. Cozumel police have not announced any arrests.
