Cozumel, Q.R. — A youth who caught the attention of patrolling officers for fighting in the street ended up jailed for possession of a firearm. The unnamed male was seen by officers arguing with another male on 80th Bis Street of Cozumel Saturday.
When he noticed police, he ran but was quickly intercepted and searched by officers who located a loaded handgun. The gun was inside a black holster at his waist. Police also located several small bags of marijuana and cocaine.
He was handcuffed and jailed for drug and firearm possession.
