Cancún, Q.R. — One deceased male was the result of a collision between a bus and small pickup truck Tuesday. Police responded to the 8:00 a.m. Huayacán Avenue accident where they found both vehicles in the middle of the roadway.
Preliminary reports say the bus hit the small pickup when the driver was attempting a u-turn. The hit caused the pickup to be pushed for several meters before coming to a stop.
Medical personnel and elements of the National Guard were sent to the site of the accident. The driver of the vehicle, a courier, was pronounced on scene. The driver of the bus was taken into police custody.
