Holbox, Q.R. — Members of the Navy, National Guard, National Commission of Protected Natural Areas and the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection participated in a Holbox beach sweep.
On Friday, a group of authorities walked a section of Holbox beach after complaints. Authorities of the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas reveived the complaints of illegal vendors and lack of free beach passage.
During their inspection, authorities removed the illegal vendors and opened the closed areas to ensure beach passage. They also closed down businesses without permits.
