Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit — A 24-year-old tourist from Texas remains in hospital after being bitten by a crocodile. The man was severely injured after he suffered a crocodile attack on Tuesday night in the resort area of Nuevo Vallarta.
The tourist, identified as 24-year-old Jaime N from Texas, was in the water at night outside his hotel when the attack occurred. Jaime N was in the company of a cousin at the time. Both were able to leave the beach and get help.
The young man was rushed to hospital in Puerto Vallarta where he was treated for a large bite across the inside of his upper right thigh.
