Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three men have been arrested in the death of another during a Playa del Carmen street fight. The men were pickup by police after area residents reported the street brawl and one person on fire.
The incident happened Friday evening off Pintores Avenue where police found two stabbed men and one deceased who had been set on fire.
In custody are 21 year old Brayan “N” from Chiapas, 36 year old Adán “N” also from Chiapas and Mauricio “N”, 49, from the State of Mexico. All three were taken into legal custody for disobedience and resistance and disturbance to public order, as at the time of the intervention, they were disturbing the peace and refused to follow the officers’ instructions.
Since their arrests, they are being investigated for their involvement in the death of the man set on fire. According to witnesses, there were more than three men fighting in the group, however, they dispersed when police arrived and only three were captured.
