Cozumel, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports that as a result of the execution of a search warrant, agents of the ministerial police arrested Brittani N and Marcos N for drug-related crimes.
La Fiscalía General del Estado says two people were arrested after the discovery of various prohibited substances located in the center colony of the municipality of Cozumel.
The judicial instruction was issued by a judge and carried out by ministerial police, derived from a complaint after someone reported the possible commission of the crime of drug trafficking.
Agents carried out an inspection of the premises where several plastic bags and glass jars with marijuana were found. Personnel of Fiscalízación of the municipality of Cozumel also found documentation anomalies that prevent the operation of the premises since it is enabled to be a cafe.
The drugs and detainees were made available to the public prosecutor for the corresponding procedures. The legal situation of both will be resolved within the deadlines established by law.
