Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a Playa del Carmen taxi was killed after crashing his vehicle into a concrete guard wall.
The driver of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río taxi union hit the wall around 4:00 a.m. Sunday. According to police reports, the accident happened along CTM avenue in Playa del Carmen and was hard enough to cause instant death to the driver.
In the vehicle was one passenger who paramedics took to hospital.
