Merida, Yucatan — More than seven liters of marijuana oil or liquid hashish was intercepted at a parcel agency in Mérida that was found bound for Playa del Carmen.
The package, which originated in Mexico City, was discovered by an on-site sniffer dog who alerted police to the presence of drugs. The discovery was made at the International Airport of Mérida.
With the help of their canine drug dog, federal airport police found and seized six-1,200 milliliter bottles of the liquid drug.
