Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — One man was taken into Playa del Carmen police custody after being reported for chasing a man in order to stab him. The unidentified male subject was arrested by police from 35th Avenue Thursday after citizens made the report.
Witnesses told police that the two men were fighting on the street when one began chasing the other in an attempt to stab him. Municipal Police officers responded to the call for assistance and were successful in apprehending the offending man.
The unnamed victim involved in the altercation was not injured.
