Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The Deputy Prosecutor of Solidaridad has announced the arrests of two men believed responsible for the murder of a 10 year old girl. The girl was shot Monday outside her home along with her mother.
The targeted attack happened outside a residential building of Villas del Sol in broad daylight. The girl was rushed to hospital but later died.
Defendants Eleazar “C” and Abraham “A” have already attended an arraignment. The pair will stand trail for the shootings that ended up killing the little girl. The girl and her mother were shot June 12 outside their home is what is being called a vendetta shooting.
The injured mother recognized Eleazar “C”, one of the shooters. When police arrived, she identified him by name and description, which lead to the arrests of the two men.
In a brief statement, the SSP of Solidaridad said that “As a result of the coordinated work of the Municipal Solidaridad Police, FGE, federal and state authorities, two subjects are already under a linking process for their possible participation in the homicide of a minor, which occurred last Monday in Villas del Sol.”
