Man pulled over for bad driving found with drugs and cash

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man pulled over for really bad driving ended up getting himself jailed on a variety of charges. On Sunday, the SSP of Solidaridad reported on the arrest of Daniel “N”.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security and Municipal Transit of Solidaridad, they assured a subject who was driving recklessly. After being pulled over, police detected the smell of alcohol on his breath.

“On the night of December 3, when the officers were implementing actions to prevent and detect illicit substances and objects at the Preventive Inspection Post located on the federal highway, Playa del Carmen-Puerto Morelos, they noticed that a Nissan-brand van circulated in a reckless and zigzag manner.

“Upon approaching the vehicle, they noticed that the driver, identified as 28-year-old Daniel “N” from Felipe Carrillo Puerto, was under the influence of some substance since his breath was similar to alcohol.” He was asked to get out of the vehicle.

After a security inspection of his person and the vehicle, the police found six bags of crystal, 85,610 pesos and $2 US dollars in cash.
