Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Elements of the Directorate of Public Safety and Municipal Transit recovered a vehicle, which moments before, had been reported stolen from the island’s Majestic Hotel.
Jaime Alberto Ongay Ortiz of la Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal explained that after receiving the report of a stolen vehicle, a search operation was set up in the area where they quickly found the stolen car and arrested it’s driver.
“Thanks to coordination with the Single Command and police of the neighboring municipality, the whereabouts of the unit reported as stolen and the arrest of the alleged thief of about 28 years of age with initials PJTB was made,” said the chief police.
