FGE says bodies found inside Cancun motel from Veracruz

Cancun, Q.R. — The two bodies found inside an older Cancun motel have been partially identified as men from Veracruz. On Monday, the State Attorney General Óscar Montes de Oca said their discovery is related to two other bodies recently found on Avenida Huayacán.

During a Monday press conference in Tulum, Montes de Oca explained that investigating agents are also analyzing hotel security footage. The two cases have been linked since footage shows the men interacting.

On June 18, the bodies of two people were found in one of the two side-by-side rooms of an older Cancun motel in SM 64. According to the police investigation, they had been shot to death. Inside the room of the bodies, agents found 9mm shell casings and drug paraphernalia.
