Cozumel, Q.R. — Paramedics rushed a Cozumel tourist to hospital Tuesday after he was hit in the head by a boat propeller. The accident happened at 4:20 p.m. in the southern portion of the island while the man was snorkeling.

While he was in the water, a boat, La Jarocha II, passed and it’s propeller made contact with the man’s face. Emergency 911 responded to the call for help, sending an ambulance.
