Cozumel, Q.R. — Reports of a shot man laying on a Cozumel sidewalk had police at the scene late Friday. According to Policia Cozumel, they arrived on Avenida Juárez to find a man laying face down on a residential sidewalk.
He had “injuries” to his head, they reported.
According to early reports, the unidentified area resident was shot in a targeted attack while leaving his home Friday evening in the Miraflore Colonia of Cozumel. He was shot at several times before his shooters fled.
Those responsible were able to get away before police arrived. Arrests have not been announced. The deceased man has not been identified.
