Cancun, Q.R. — Three men are being investigated for their illegal possession of drugs and one loaded weapon. Cancun police say all three were arrested Friday “in flagrante delicto” for their likely involvement in drug dealing.

In custody are Samuel Edu “N”, alias “Wero”, Luis Alberto “N”, alias “Moreno”, and Carlos “N”, who were arrested on the Puerto Juárez-Punta Sam highway when officers observed a possible exchange of narcotics.
“During the inspection, agents seized green and dried herb with characteristics similar to marijuana, a firearm with a magazine loaded with live cartridges, and cell phones,” Cancun police reported.
The evidence was secured and the three detainees were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office who will determine their legal status for their probable participation in acts of drug dealing.
