Cozumel, Q.R. — A man with a long history of island robbery has been taken into police custody. On Wednesday, Cozumel Police arrested Geyder “P” in response to a neighborhood request for assistance.
Responding officers were sent to the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood in response to the theft of a motorcycle. Using the physical description provided, police began a search for the suspect.
The suspect was located on 85 Avenue between 12th and 14th Streets where he continually ignored police requests to stop. Instead, he entered a commercial establishment, breaking the store’s glass front door in the process.
Police proceeded to arrest the 27 year old male they say, has a long history of robbery in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood.
