Cancun, Q. R. — Police in Cancun have arrested a taxi driver after he was seen handling packages from the trunk of his car. Officers were touring the area in SM 94 when they happened upon the taxi on Avenida Prolongación 127.
When officers approached the car, they saw a gun inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics that included marijuana and cocaine along with a cell phone, loaded handgun and cartridges of various calibers.
Police proceeded to arrest Cancun taxi driver Miguel Ángel “N” on drug and weapons charges.
